Rating: 9 out of 10
By C.W. Ross

Panik’s lineup is, Rick Legacy (vocals, guitar), Angelo Cimino ( guitar), Brian Hamilton (drums), and Mark Piraino (bass).

This Canadian band plays a blend of melodic hard rock that has been influenced by bands like, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Soundgarden, Seven Dust, Super Tramp, and Judas Priest.

While most of their music is melodic rock the band also proves that when necessary they can press the rock gas pedal to the floor and rip it out.

Probably the best example of this is the band’s cover of the Judas Priest hit, “Another Thing Coming,” that’s track-7 on the release.

The band manages to mix hard rock’s past with modern elements to create their sound. The bands use of attention grabbing guitar licks along with the born to rock vocals of Rick Legacy results in songs that grab your attention.

The only minor complaint I have is that the dead space between the songs seemed to be a little bit too long. At first listen I was checking my CD player to make sure it was working right.

Other then that small complaint I really liked Panik and the music found on, A Page Torn.
