Music Review for Pop Punk Band Boy Set Sail’s Debut EP- ‘We’re Almost There’

Boy Set Sail – ‘We’re Almost There’ Review

By C.W. Ross

‘We’re Almost There,’ is the debut EP from Newport, South Wales’ band Boy Set Sail. The band’s music is a straight-up pop punk style that the band does a really good job of performing.

All five of the tracks found on ‘We’re Almost There’ are filled with fast paced guitar parts that draw you in with their lively playing style that is backed by fast flying drum beats that make sure everything stays on track, all topped off with crisp lead vocals and backing choruses dealing with youth related subjects like, life dreams and love.

With their catchy hooks that grab your attention I could easily see several of the songs found on ‘We’re Almost There’ getting lots of radio airplay.

Highlight tracks include, “Rewind,” “You Are,” and “This Time Around.”
