ESPANTAPAJAROS entered the studio in October 2011 to start recording their follow-up to 2010’s “Following The Star.” The band had a busy year touring and performing to promote their last release, playing shows in Austin, New Orleans, Little Rock, Winston-Salem, Washington DC and New York City, not to mention the band’s adoptive hometown of Houston, TX

The record is being self-produced and the line-up for the recording consists of Pablo Espantapajaros, the band’s founder, lead singer and guitarist along with Diego Fernandez on guitar, Antonio Gonzalez on drums and Alan Rodriguez on bass.

The record will consist of ten tracks, including 60’s rock n’ roll throwbacks “Goodbye” and “The Right One”, guitar driven anthems “We Will Laugh” and “Let It Shine” and the powerfully ethereal “Sunday Afternoon”

The band expects to release the record in early 2012
