International Hip Hop Artist A-Lo Lands on the American Pop Charts

Sensational hip hop artist A-Lo has been making waves worldwide with his witty lyrics and unique flow. He has taken the music world by surprise with his chart topping hit, “More Than Friends”. Within two weeks of the release of “More Than Friends” it debuted at 137 on the American pop charts. Who is A-Lo? Heralding from Windsor, Ontario, A-Lo is a tour de force of vocal style ranging from soft ballads to hardcore anger anthems. Drawing from influences such as Eminem, Akon and Ne-Yo, A-Lo combines his vocal talents with his driven, often Kurt Cobain-esque lyrics to not only knock you down, but to help you up afterward.

After toiling away with years of underground releases, A-Lo is finally poised to make a huge commercial splash with his first fully produced album “My Addiction”, to be released in the 1st quarter of 2012. “My Addiction” promises to be a robust collection of emotional soundscapes including uppers, downers and everything in between. From the hopeful verses of “More than Friends” to the crunchy, guitar driven “Bad Day”, “My Addiction” is a perfect showcase of A-Lo’s versatility and lyrical prowess.

A-Lo’s single “More Than Friends” is available for download on iTunes, CD Baby, and the music video is viewable on YouTube.
