Review for Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real’s New Release ‘Wasted’

Artist: Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real
Title: ‘Wasted’

Overall Album Vibe:Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real’s latest release, ‘Wasted,’ is a collection of songs that show the many different sides of the band’s sound from straight up & alt. country to Southern rock and jam band all done with a soulful grittiness that keeps everything real. Think Willie Nelson (who is the father of band lead vocalist Lukas Nelson) meets Neil Young. As the title of the album might suggest several of the songs found on, ‘Wasted,’ do include some drug related lyrics, revolving around pot use.

Review Tagline: Do yourself a favor and enjoy all the great music that’s found on Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real’s ‘Wasted’ release.
Standout Tracks: “Old Familiar Pain”, “Don’t Take Me Back”, “Heart of the Matter”, “Wasted”
