Artist: Bunny Sigler
Title: ‘From Bunny With Love and a Little Soul’
Overall Album Vibe: As I listened to Walter “Bunny” Sigler’s music I thought of it sounding like the suave appearance of Billy Dee Williams set to music. Sigler has been involved in the music scene for several decades now as a recording artist, songwriter and producer. He also has a stellar resume to go along with those many years including being a 4-time Grammy Award winner and nominee, several gold and platinum albums along with having a connection to thousands of recorded CD projects working with artist from Mary J. Blige and Patti LaBelle to Nelly and Jay-Z. He’s also credited with being a major contributor of the Philly Soul sound. Sigler’s new release, ‘From Bunny With Love and a Little Soul,’ offers up a mix of smooth soulful tracks like, “Sweet Lorraine”, “To Love Again” and the touching father-child relationship song, “Unspoken Word,” dealing with the need to say words like, I Love You, before it’s too late. If your in the mood for some 70’s retro funk then give tracks like, “In a Minute”, “Super Guy,” and “Too Sexy”, that channels up a James Brown sound a listen. The first single from the release is, “Nobody Else for Me,” that features a finding true love storyline.
Review Tagline: Sigler’s music is blend of r&b, soul and funk that’s topped off with his smooth vocals that could melt ice even on the coldest of winter day.
Standout Tracks: “Unspoken Words”, “In a Minute”, “Super Guy”, “Too Sexy”, “Nobody Else for Me”
