Artist: Big Daddy Weave
Title: ‘Love Come To Life’
Overall Album Vibe: Talented and Dove Award-winning band Big Daddy Weave is back with their first studio album in three years. The album almost wasn’t when a fire swept through guitarist/producer Jeremy Redmon’s house and studio. “This project has been three years in the making. We’ve faced failures and walked through personal disasters,” says frontman Mike Weaver. “We can even say this record literally came through fire, as we watched where we record be destroyed by it. But through all of that, we came to find that God is still so much more than enough! This is a record of the realities of life and of how God is faithful, always.” I’m sure that you’ve been hearing the releases first hit single and title track, “Love Come to Life,” on your favorite Christian radio stations. The up-tempo pop rocker is all about having a burning faith and putting it to work in your life. I enjoyed the nice saxophone part that’s found on the track, “Give My Life Away.” “Jesus Move,” is a nice Hillsong sounding worshipful track. From the several more melodic songs found on the album I enjoyed the salvation driven track, “If You Died Tonight.” As you can see from my long list of ‘Standout Tracks’ found below that I liked almost all of what ‘Love Come to Life’ offers up in its songs.
