Kevin Gullickson’s (Radio Drive) Fourth Album, ‘This is Our Time,’ is a Musical Explosion of Goodness

Artist: Radio Drive (Kevin Gullickson)
Title: ‘This is Our Time’
Website: http://www.radio-drive.com

Overall Album Vibe: The group Radio Drive is really, Kevin Gullickson, who performs the instrumentation and vocals that are found on his fourth album, ‘This is Our Time.’ Gullickson pulls on several different musical styles (alternative, pop, rock) along with several decades (60s-today) in his music. Also once again Grammy Award winner Gene Paul, son of the late & great guitar player and innovator Les Paul, handled mixing and mastering duties on the project. Gullickson’s music is filled with positive lyrics about not letting life get you down along with being willing to try different paths in your life. The album’s title track, “This is Our Time,” is a synth filled dance-pop track. “Money You Don’t Own Me” and “Life Is for Living,” are two solid, rocking guitar lead tracks. The album comes to a strong close with the track, “Hardwired,” that is filled with fast paced drumming along with a whirlwind of electric guitar playing that sounds like a mix of Jimi Hendrix & Lenny Kravitz as it exploded from my speakers.

Review Tagline: On his latest album, ‘This is Our Time,’ Kevin Gullickson and his Radio Drive moniker prove that one person is enough if they are as multi-talented as Gullickson.
Standout Tracks: “This is Our Time”, “Money You Don’t Own Me”, “Life Is for Living”, “Hardwired”
