UK Band Lower Lands Shows No Signs of ‘Growing Pains’

Artist: Lower Lands
Title: ‘Growing Pains’

Overall Album Vibe: Benji Inkley (guitar, vocals), Paul Howells (guitar, vocals), Jacob Jarvis (bass, vocals) and Sam Girling (drums, vocals), make up this UK band. The band just released their 6-track EP, ‘Growing Pains,’ on it you’ll find a mix of alternative rock and punk swagger with even some select elements of screamo vocals. The releases opening track, “Wide Eyes,” is a good example of what’s found on the EP and sets the tone for what lies ahead with its mix of alternative rock meets controlled punk sound with lead and background vocals that help to frame out the song.

Review Tagline: The music found on Lower Lands’- ‘Growing Pains’ EP has a very well done unique edge that makes them stand out from the crowded music scene.
Standout Tracks: “Wide Eyes”, “12 Green Bottles”, “Idle Hands, Empty Pockets”
