Review for Christian Modern Rockers Canopy Red’s Sophomore Release, ‘Wake Up’

Artist: Canopy Red
Title: ‘Wake Up’

Overall Album Vibe: Modern Rock band Canopy Red is back with their new album, ‘Wake Up,’ that’s the long awaited follow-up to their 2009 self-titled debut release. They haven’t been just setting around though the band has performed over 500 live shows during that time period. The album was produced by Dove Award winning producer Rusty Varenkamp (Michael W. Smith, Sanctus Real, Tenth Avenue North). On, ‘Wake Up,’ the band blends, pop, rock and worship musical styles with songs that deal with issues centered around, guidance, reassurance and not letting your faith life grow stagnant.

Review Tagline: On their latest album Canopy Red proves that the four years since their debut effort was well spent with the collection of well crafted songs that are found on, ‘Wake Up.’
Standout Tracks: “Forever”, “Paralyzed”, “Wake Up”, Wasting Time”, “What I’m Waiting For”
