Abandoned Pools is musical suvant Tommy Walter. Newly signed to Tooth & Nail Records the Abanded Pools monikor debut on the label is titled, ‘Sublime Currency.’ The release is a culminantion of an eleven-year journey that deals with Walter’s finding solace in answering his own questions regarding his faith and recent marriage.

The album was written and recorded over a two year period (2010 and 2011) with the actual recording taking place in several Southern California locations including, Castle View Studio, The Bombshelter and Tommy’s own LQP Studios, all with Walter at the production helm.

When asked about the new release Walter says that, “I went back to my core of writing on my own and recording on my own because it keeps the project focused. I had a lot of range on the first album and I wanted to keep that going here, this range of styles. The songs come from a long span of time, but I feel like they’re all appropriate to now.”
