Rising Indie Czechoslovakian Band Takes a ‘Breath’ on Their Debut Release

Artist: A Banquet
Title: ‘Breath’

Overall Album Vibe: A Banquet, a rising Czech indie band, has their own music style they call FUTU-ROLL. A mixture of electro and good old-fashioned alt rock, A Banquet’s album ‘Breath’ is a feast of genre mixing. The album is filled with rock riffs, electronic vibes and harmonious singing. While some songs flow right into one another, such as “The Dust We Are” and “Blue Feelings”, other songs such as the beautiful acoustic “Fledgling” provide a perfect variety overall.

Review Tagline: A Banquet’s “Breath” LP is a strong harmonious album with pleasant surprises showing their range sprinkled throughout.

Standout Tracks: “Far Away”, “I Am the Ninth Wave”, “Fledgling”
