On His, ‘It’s All Country,’ Release Doug Briney Fly’s The Banner of Country Music Proudly

Artist: Doug Briney
Title: ‘It’s All Country’

Overall Album Vibe:

Doug Briney is a country artist from Anchorage, Alaska. While his music is classified more as Positive Country then Christian Briney, pastor at the Cowboy Church of Anchorage, puts his faith front and center in both his life and music.

On the Album’s title track, ‘It’s All Country,’ Briney puts out an olive branch to all country artist letting them know that there’s a place in country music for both old and new style country music. The album itself attests to that formula opening up with several more traditional country tracks before pumping up the songs with more new sounding electric guitar parts being added in to the mix.

On the more traditional country side of things the poignant track, “More Than Just a Farm to Me,” is a real heartfelt number. The classic song, “Ol’ Red,” has a country meets swamp rock vibe with some nice rootsy harmonica playing also found in it. Briney’s love of Motorcycles comes out on the song, “Let’s Get Ridin’.”

The closing track, “Bleed Red,” is a powerful song about when we peel away all of the layers and get right down to it we’re pretty much the same, we all bleed red blood.

Review Tagline: Doug Briney uses the music found on his, ‘It’s All Country,’ release to showcase his musical talents using several different styles of country music.

Standout Tracks: “More Than Just a Farm to Me”, “Ol’ Red”, “Let’s Get Ridin'”, “Bleed Red”,
