‘Don’t Even Know’ from The Electro-Lights Offers New Punk/Rockabilly from Nub Country Records

TheElectroLights
From the home of innovative pop music – Nub Country Records – comes the new Single from Mississippi Punk Blues duo The Electro-Lights.

It’s 2015 and the two minute single is alive and kicking as the The Electro-Lights gate-crash the year with a barnstorming rockabilly, punk injection of adrenalin called “Don’t Even Know’. The duo (Oliver Meacham and Samuel Mahler) were formed mid-2012 emerging from the blues and rock ‘n’ roll roots of Mississippi and have performed with a wide variety of bands such as The Offspring, Smashing Pumpkins, One Republic, Shinedown, The Wallflowers, Wiz Khalifa and Awolnation.

Early in 2014, the band went on hiatus while Samuel Mahler deployed to Afghanistan with the Army Reserve. Upon his return they have hit the ground running, releasing their new single “Don’t Even Know” while also touring.

“I have discovered the future sound of Rock and Roll. They are a two piece called The Electro-Lightswhose garage, bluesy, punk sound makes the White Stripes sound like a lounge cocktail bar band.” – Mark Lee. Music Critic, and Head of Nub Country Records.
