Nashville Rising Star and Country Fan Jam Announce Partnership

(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) — Nashville Rising Star, the premier discovery vehicle for emerging songwriters in Nashville, announces a partnership with Country Fan Jam, a new music festival being held June 11-14, 2015 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.

The grand prize winner of Nashville Rising Star series 3 will perform their winning song on Country Fan Jam’s main stage on Saturday evening, June 13, before their headlining act. The four finalists of Nashville Rising Star series 3 will share a one-hour block of stage time on Country Fan Jam’s acoustic stage. Nashville Rising Star creator, Keith Mohr and emcee, Sue Mohr will facilitate and emcee the acoustic stage at Country Fan Jam.

Keith Mohr states, “We met Dale Gutherey last year when he was a judge at Nashville Rising Star, and he was telling us about his vision for a large fan-based festival. We take our hats off to Dale for his commitment, and we’re grateful for the opportunity he has provided.”

Dale Guthery states, “Nashville Rising Star is a fantastic event that makes Nashville known as Music City. It provides a great performance opportunity, plus they foster songwriters and the songwriting community. Nashville Rising Star is a vehicle that truly shoots to find the next star singer/songwriter.”


Nashville Rising Star is a songwriter open-mic contest that has been held a various venues around Nashville, Tennessee for the past six years. Series 3 starts on March 4th at Wild Wing Cafe in Franklin, Tennessee. Country Fan Jam is a four day, all-ages music festival being held June 11-14, 2015 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds near Nashville, Tennessee. The festival features top Country artists from the 80s, 90s and 2000’s, plus many emerging artists who are making a buzz in the industry. More than just a concert, there will be activities for families, children, vendors, food, exhibit booths and more.
