Title: ‘RADAH’ (Random Access Digital Audio Heresy)
Overall Album Vibe:
JoyFocus (Holly Joy & Rikk Currence) is not your everyday band. Their music is a mixture of both driving & melodic rock beats along with song lyrics that make you think as you listen to them.
The music found on their latest release, ‘RADAH,’ once again showcases the wide ranging singing talents of Holly Joy who has the vocal pipes to belt it out rock style or soft melodic with a haunting pop edged vibe to them. Handling the instrumentation found on the album is Rikk Currence who along with his engineer and producer talents all work to pull this album into a top quality release.
All eight of the songs that make up, ‘RADAH,’ pull you in with their deepness be it dealing with lost love or the spiritual undertones that flows from the album and explode out in the up tempo track, “Revolution.”
Other tracks that jumped out to me included the opening number, “Retreat,” a classic guitar driven rock track. And, “Satellite,” another up tempo track guitar driven track featuring rousing vocals and the melodic closing track, “Home.”
When I listen to JoyFocus’ music words like, well done, good stuff, fresh and exciting all come to mind. I think that you’ll enjoy their music too.
‘RADAH’ (Random Access Digital Audio Heresy) will be on sale everywhere May 13th with pre orders beginning on April 15th.
