Orange County Indie Rock-Reggae Band, Aloha Radio, Release Two Debut Albums

AlohaRadioPR
Orange County’s up and coming indie rock-reggae band, Aloha Radio, have just released two debut albums “Stoked and Broke” and “California Scheming” on independent record label iSeed Records. The “Stoked and Broke” album consisting of 17 songs and a bonus track features a reggae remix produced by Maad T-Ray of the popular roots reggae band Tribal Seeds. The “California Scheming” album consisting of 12 brand new tracks was produced and engineered by the band themselves and mastered by Brian Lucey of Magic Garden Mastering. (Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Marilyn Manson). When asked why Aloha Radio released two albums at once, singer Lauren Mulderrig responded,”Why not?”.

With 30 tracks between the two albums a wide variety of genres are explored. “Stoked and Broke” is a surfy adventure of ukulele and Dick Dale twang topped off with 3 reggae remixes while “California Scheming” is laid back West Coast indie rock with hints of hip hop and electronic elements. The two records highlight Aloha Radio’s progression as a band and compliment each other like an ice cold cerveza and sandy feet.

Aloha Radio celebrated their double album debut with a sold out show supporting Shwayze this past Sunday, July 19th at The Observatory in Orange County, CA.

Both of the records are now available for purchase through Aloha Radio’s official website, http://www.AlohaRadioBand.com. The records will be available through digital retailers and streaming services such as iTunes, Amazon and Spotify Friday, July 24th.

Aloha Radio are planning a national fall tour in support of their new releases. To keep up to date with this explosive band and their schedule check out their website, http://www.AlohaRadioBand.com.
