Once again it looks like the SEC is gonna be the top conference when it comes to Women’s College Softball. Florida is once again ranked 1st and going for a three-peat this year along with other SEC powerhouses including, LSU (ranked 3rd), Auburn (ranked 4th), Alabama (ranked 5th), Tennessee (ranked 8th), Georgia (ranked 12th) and Kentucky (ranked 18th) who are all ranked in the top twenty in the preseason USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll.
Other usually strong teams like Michigan (ranked 2nd), UCLA (ranked 7th), Oklahoma (ranked 9th), Florida State (ranked 10th) and Louisiana Lafayette (ranked 11th) should also have good seasons and take a run at this year’s championship.
