“The View From Here” EP by Rumours To Be Released

Wagga Wagga based metal-core outfit Rumours formed mid 2014. Their influences are drawn from the amazing home-grown talent throughout Australia, Such as Parkway Drive, Northlane, In Hearts Wake and The Amity Affliction. After working hard for months, they produced and released their debut track “Preach” with help from close friend Chris Lalic, along with a self funded music video for the track. Debuting shortly after, Rumours began building a solid fan base in their home region of Riverina NSW. Playing continuous shows around the cities of Albury and Wagga, before being invited to support Dream on Dreamer and Polaris in the capital city of Canberra for the ‘Songs Of Solitude’ tour.

In August 2015 the band headed down to Melbourne, writing and recording the debut EP The View From Here. Recorded and Mastered with Chris Lalic, The album features guest vocals from Jamie Guerin (BlindEye) and Shaemous Duggan (Realisations).

With tracks from their EP “Shadows” and “Break The Silence” making it into the Top 10 on the Triple J Unearthed metal charts, 2016 started off with a bang for Rumours. They found themselves on the bill for The Ghost Inside Charity Show in Canberra, sharing the stage with Reigner and To The Grave. In April 2016 Rumours were invited on the road with Melbourne hardcore band Earthcaller, for the ‘Smokin’ Cones n Stealin Phones’ mini-tour.
